RESIDENT GOOD VS EVIL

Hi Chad.

To the left here is jesus.

I told my friend Kirsten that everyday I would put my netflix up on my new blog... so here they are:

"At HOME"
The Getaway - We haven't seen this one yet but it stars Steve McQueen so it has to be good.

The Work of Director Anton Corbijn - This is excellent. Anton is unlike anything I imagined. He is actually the opposite kind of person that I had imagined, which is what makes him so great. He is a true genius.

Resident Evil - This really fucking sucked....until! the scene with the lasers and then it got way better. enough for me to rent the second one because I'm curious about what happens. Here's a pic of Milla Jovovich, perhaps one of the most dynamic looking people around right now (even though she's really weird) . She looks like a cross between Linda Evangelista and Sofia Lauren...

I really like this artist. Her name is zoe mendelson (link below) I think I found her linked to Will Oldham's site (http://www.bonnieprincebilly.com/) Her stuff is super kinky and really
talented. the "drawings" section is the best - http://www.zoemendelson.co.uk/welcome.htm

I came across this photographer somehow, I can't really remember - maybe from flickr or BUST or something.. . she's really amazing. Her style is really raw and colorful, little kids and young girls and families. Not really high concept art, but that's stupid anyway.

now I'm wondering... it's utterly female, not to mention really cliche, (but hey, cliche is the new original)... I think I really like pictures of animals and children. they're so heated and emotional, it's hard NOT to take a good picture of them (this is the first allusion to my laziness, the first of many). Below is a picture I took of my niece called "after the funeral" and a picture of a dog I know named Allie. it's Allie's birthday this weekend. she'll be 21....old enough to drink beer.

This may be my new thing, incl. pics of animals and children at the end of my blogs. At least until it's not my new thing anymore.

Chad, I'll see you tonight for tortilla soup. Please don't compare it to Martin's.

Thanks,

-Alicia
