HORSEPOWER AND THE HORSEBRASS
Disclaimer: This post is late... and for that I apologize...

Good Morning CHAD!
How are you this fine spring morn? Okay here. I'm going to upload some pictures from Sat. nights antics (these will come in phases as blogger.com is not upload friendly), but first I would like to comment on a local "community art" project. Someone or someone's has/have been tying little horses to the old horse rings on PDX sidewalks. I saw one in the Pearl several weeks ago, but this one finally made its way to my hood on 28th and Ankeny. My friend Stephanie and I have been discussing the whole community art phenomenon, from knitting phone pole huggies to random graffiti messages such as "mozeltoff" and "cold"....
I'm not sure how to categorize this kind of art. I like it! It just seems too idea oriented, or too easy maybe. It doesn't seem "fine"....or maybe there are no "guts" or maybe all the people obsessed with little Japanese birds should go home (did I say that?) or maybe I'm just jealous... What do you think Chad?

http://bojack.org/index.shtml - Jack the blogger beat me to the punch....
Secondly, before party pictures, I would like to state that the Alison MIXED Disc War is on. (Seth says "MIX DISC," which is retarded however those who submit MIXED DISCS are welcome to debate this either way) Chad has made two submissions already BUT I feel so confident in my mixing abilities that after Alison receives the gift of audible art I am about to impart upon her - she will forever be my slave.

This weekend is the beginning of the end.
In addition: ANYONE is welcome to join in the fun. JUST make a MIXED CD of your favorite songs and submit them to ALISON. Details on where to send the ALISON'S MIXED DISCS will be given upon request...and posted due to heightened interest.
Before the pictures, I would also like to say that my supervisor, Karen, gave me an INSANE thing today. It's this document that I'm supposed to fill out and apparently, if I fill it out well or something, I get a bonus - that's like 15% of my monthly income (not much boys and girls)...So the document is basically this:
Q4 Goals
Name: _____________________________
Goals
Objectives
Tasks
Completion/Deliverable
Performance Development
Goals
Objectives
Tasks
Completion
If anyone can tell me what this means, I may give them a percentage of my bonus percentage. Otherwise, it brings me back to a scene in Donnie Darko - where the teacher asks them to read scenarios off cards and place the X where between "Love" and "Fear" on a continuum.
Obviously, I can't decide which way I'm feeling....
More pics tomorrow!!
