house love

I'm constantly fascinated by anything house-ish-ey. Aerial photos, architecture plans, building sites, Las Vegas suburban landscapes or those little consistant rooftops you see along the freeway, slightly differing shades of tan, peeking up above a concrete wall... Usually my obssesion is more from a disturbing, confined, linear perspective but something about the desolation, isolation, and desperation of a suburban landscape makes me feel calm and critical at the same time. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up in one....
